How I became involved

My name is Darlene Klaiber. I'm engaged to be married to my fiance', Nick Napoli. We have had to postpone our Wedding plans, due to having to deal with

Paternity Fraud!!!

We received the DNA Paternity Test results in the mail on October 10, 2000, just two days after the unexpected death of Nick's Father.

The DNA results have

EXCLUDED Nick

of being the Biological Father

of not just one,

but TWO children

from one "Mother"!!!

At first, we thought that we were the only ones dealing with this situation.......NOT!!!

PATERNITY FRAUD

IS BECOMING AN EPIDEMIC!

From that day forward, I have been working hard on trying to help get the laws changed in order to relieve Nick, as well as so many more Paternity Fraud Victims, of the financial & emotional burden that has been UNJUSTLY brought upon them.

Day by day, we are in contact with more Paternity Fraud Victims.

As many of you know and might also be going through the same thing, Nick & I have split up quite a bit, and we believe that it has a lot to do with all of the added financial, emotional, and stress that is related to Paternity Fraud. We've always ended up back together, because of our love for one another. I am mentioning this, because I would rather not change this page each time it happens. I hope that you understand.

MY CONTACT: I stay in contact with my CA-CAPF group Members by sending out Newsletters through e-mail. I also have telephone and regular e-mail contact with many of the PFV's.

HEARINGS: I made it to ALL of the Hearings last year for AB-2240, that Assemblyman Roderick Wright and his Chief Consultant, Stan DiOrio, wanted CA-CAPF to attend, and most of the time Lobbied there the day before. We would usually stay for three days/2 nights in Sacramento for each Hearing, as many other Members of CA-CAPF did as well, when able to attend a Hearing. I've had the pleasure of meeting many of the Members of my group in Sacramento at the Hearings for AB-2240 that Governor Gray Davis vetoed. It's one thing to talk on the phone, and send e-mail back and forth, but it's SO exciting to finally meet the people in person!!! We've become a family of good friends. My fiance' Nick Napoli has attended Hearings with me, as well as my Mother, Lillian Jean Klaiber, and my daughters, Angelina Hamill and Vanessa Hamill. We all learned quite a bit last year. The girls have even written essays on Paternity Fraud, which I will publish at a later time.
